Migrant Caravans
Between 2018 and 2021 tens of thousands of Hondurans and Salvadorans migrants and asylum seekers formed caravans in the hopes of reaching the United States. Migrants faced brutal repression by authorities along the way. These photos are from across the migrant trail in Guatemala and in Southern Mexico. Most photos were published by Al Jazeera, The Los Angeles Times, and The Progressive.
